About Doc Emet Productions

Doc Emet Productions was founded in 2008 as a Massachusetts-based 501(c)3 not-for-profit corporation. A regional office in Tennessee was established in 2016. The mission of Doc Emet Productions is to produce and disseminate educational films that promote the values of freedom and democracy, and contribute to the strengthening of Jewish identity and nationhood.

Doc Emet Productions' first feature documentary film The Case for Israel: Democracy's Outpost (October 2008) presents a vigorous case for Israel—for its basic right to exist, to protect its citizens from terrorism, and to defend its borders from hostile neighbors. Alan Dershowitz, Felix Frankfurter Professor of Law at Harvard Law School, plays a central role in the film, and engages leading political, judicial and academic leaders from Israel and North America in honest and intelligent discourse on the critical challenges facing Israel and the West. Since the film's release at the Haifa International Film Festival, it has been translated into Arabic, French, German, Hebrew, Japanese, Russian, and Spanish.

Unmasked Judeophobia (October 2011) examines the resurgence of lethal Jew-hatred in regions around the world and connects that resurgence with the campaign to dismantle the Jewish state. The film features leading experts from around the world, including Robert Wistrich, Ruth Wisse, Elie Wiesel, Natan Sharansky, Chief Rabbi Lord Jonathan Sachs, Ron Dermer, Alvin Rosenfeld, Alan Dershowitz, Pilar Rahola, Fiamma Nirenstein, Kenneth L. Marcus, Irwin Cotler. Unmasked Judeophobia has been translated into Arabic, French, German, Hebrew, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, and Spanish.

Body and Soul – The State of the Jewish Nation (October 2014) presents a comprehensive examination of the broad and deep connections between the Jewish people and the Land of Israel. World-renowned historians, archaeologists, political scientists, religious leaders, and international law and media experts trace the evocative evolution of the relationship between the Jewish People and their homeland that is over 3,000 years old.

The Fight of Our Lives – Defeating the Ideological War Against the West (February 2018) is the fourth feature documentary film released by Doc Emet Productions.
